Is this how they got to Rudy Giuliani?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Now that Rudy Giuliani is hopelessly upside down financially and reduced to filing for bankruptcy, he’s being required to list all of his assets (and potential assets) in court filings. This has revealed, for instance, that Giuliani believes Donald Trump owes him money – which could end up causing even more problems for Trump. Giuliani has also revealed in these filings that he owns an insane amount of fancy wrist watches.

Some wealthy (in this case formerly wealthy) people just like to buy a bunch of fancy watches in order to flaunt their wealth. But it’s worth keeping in mind that Rudy has been on the take from various foreign entities for a very long time. Remember Lev and Igor, and the oligarch who connected them? Remember all the media reports about Rudy being connected financially to so many corrupt governments?

It’s enough to make you wonder, at least half seriously, if some of these fancy watches were gifts from the foreign entities who were lining Rudy Giuliani’s pockets. More to the point, as Empty Wheel points out, it’s enough to make you wonder if some of these watches were in fact bugged:

.
Normally you wouldn’t think that a high profile U.S. political figure would be dumb enough to accept wrist watches as gifts from corrupt foreign entities without thinking “Hey, this might be bugged.” But as we keep seeing, Rudy Giuliani has been almost comically clueless for several years now. Anything is possible.
