Is this how the coronavirus is spreading through Donald Trump’s White House?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When a top Donald Trump aide and a top Mike Pence aide both tested positive for coronavirus within twenty-four hours of each other, it seemed highly unlikely to be coincidence. It pointed to some kind of wider scale White House outbreak underway. And yet it also raised the question of how the virus could be jumping between Trump’s staff and Pence’s staff, when for the most part they don’t interact with each other.

Then today we learned that the Mike Pence aide who tested positive is Katie Miller, who’s married to Donald Trump aide Stephen Miller (yes, that Stephen Miller). We don’t have any word yet on whether Stephen Miller also has coronavirus. But considering that his wife has it, there’s a strong chance he does too – and they could be the conduit for how the virus has seemingly jumped across staffs.

In any case, this all firmly remains Donald Trump’s fault. His lies and negligence are the reason the coronavirus crisis is happening in the United States to begin with. Trump has also refused to implement basic safety protocols in the White House, as we routinely see his staffers failing to social distance during televised Oval Office events, and we don’t see anyone on his staff wearing masks. Now Trump’s willful negligence has led to an outbreak that’s endangering his staffers’ lives – as well as his own.
