Is Ron DeSantis about to pull the plug?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Ron DeSantis is getting ready to officially drop out of the Presidential race. Reports are morale has gone from bad to worse inside the claustrophobic headquarters of the DeSantis campaign.

Nothing they do is working. Even Ron’s wife, Lady Macbeth herself, cannot find any answers. The Iowa caucus is in less than a month. And the verdict seems to be rejection in the case of DeSantis.

Recently, his pollster and campaign advisor said the campaign is reaching the “make the patient comfortable” phase. That’s about as bad as it gets. Isn’t it nice, voters, that we didn’t have to lift a finger to destroy Ron’s career? He did that all on his own. Well, at least one good thing came of this joke of a campaign.

Ron is facing pressure to drop out. His PAC is reportedly falling apart. They pulled millions of advertisements from Iowa and New Hampshire. Nothing, it seems can save Ron’s campaign now and somewhere in those pudding-ringed depths he must know this.

So, I’d not be surprised if it happened right after Iowa. Ron’s vanity will perhaps keep him in until then. Will he try again in 2028? I would not be surprised. The man’s got an ego bigger than Mount Everest. A second run would be delightful in a way because he’d look even sillier than he does now.
