“Insurrection LLC”
For shame! For shame to anyone who DARED ever imply that Democrats do not have wit. I have heard those rumors before. But someone is here to tell you differently, and it’s not me. It’s Eric Swalwell.
You may have watched some or all of that fake, disgusting, pathetic Merrick Garland hearing. This was an event where Republicans showed the American people firmly that they’d entered the Twilight Zone and were never being zoomed back.
“Insurrection LLC.” Swalwell, who may have missed his second calling as a comedian, absolutely flattened the monster in the baby-blue shirt known as Gym Jordan. And boy, oh boy, did he do it with finesse and elegance! His take-down really should be rebroadcast on every network as it was a purely delicious exercise in entertainment — as well as being 100 percent true.
The GOP in the House decided to contribute to this event by screaming at Garland while practicing fake rage and yelling and ranting about Hunter Biden. It is indeed scary that the House of Representatives has these useless clowns in its halls. I think it’s time to call for an exorcism.
So Republicans accused Garland of being in contempt of Congress because he wouldn’t break the law and reveal to them the secrets of the Hunter Biden investigation.
Swalwell, however, had the last word. “That is quite rich,” Swalwell said, “because the guy who’s leaving the hearing room right now, Mr. Jordan, is about 500 days into evading his subpoena.”
And then the TV cameras zoomed in on — a clock? That’s exactly what it was. A real, beautiful ticking clock displaying the days seamlessly counted down since said subpoena went out to Gym. What a guy!
Jordan was attempting to leave the room like a scared rabbit. That did not stop Swalwell from continuing. “Are you serious that Gym Jordan, a witness to one of the greatest crimes ever committed in America, a crime where more prosecutions have occurred than any crime committed in America, refuses to help his country, and we’re going to get lectured about subpoena compliance and contempt of congress?”
It was a moment that should be frozen in time. I’ve no doubt that it will be. Gym should never ever attempt to go up against Swalwell. That’s sort of like a fight between a joyful yet fierce puppy and a stinking, malignant cockroach. It just cannot end up in Gym’s favor.
So this hearing, like everything Republicans do, quickly turned to shit. This is nothing new for the “Insurrection LLC” Party. You’d think they’d have known better by now, but that would require having a few working brain cells.
