Each time Donald Trump opens his mouth, what comes out is even more insane, unhinged, incoherent, and senile. So it’s not surprising that his legal team, which at this point seems to only exist to play into his senile delusions, keeps going into court and making arguments that are also insane.

Congressman Ted Lieu said it best today:

It’s important to keep in mind that by making arguments this insanely stupid, Donald Trump and his legal team are basically forfeiting. This makes it almost impossible for the courts to side with Trump, because then the courts would also be siding with the unhinged positions that Trump and his team are taking.

So while a senile Trump may think that these are winning arguments, rest assured that they are not. Trump is simply doing what he does best these days: shooting himself in the proverbial foot and losing every legal battle he’s fighting.
