Influential pundit refuses to go on MSNBC until it stops airing Donald Trump’s deranged press briefings

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Each day, Donald Trump continues to use his “coronavirus press briefings” to spread dangerous false information and promote his own sinking reelection bid. Each day, MSNBC and CNN end up airing most or all of these deranged briefings. This makes the cable news networks complicit in Trump’s ongoing murder spree. Now one influential pundit has found a way to fight back.

Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean, a sought-after political pundit, made this announcement today:

Every single decision made by cable news networks is based on whatever is best for ratings, and thus best for profit margins. MSNBC and CNN are airing Donald Trump’s garbage press briefings because they’re good for ratings. But if enough pundits and guests start boycotting the networks, this will hurt ratings in other ways, thus forcing networks to dump the press briefings.
