In the room where the degradation of Trump’s mental functions happened
President Donald Trump will be at his Cult 45 rally soon, talking to the MAGAsses. Several of his advance people have reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus, but that’s a small price to pay for his ego to be stroked and for hate and dissension to be spewed. It is likely that John Bolton’s new book will be a topic, and Trump has tweeted about a “victory” he obtained today in court:
BIG COURT WIN against Bolton. Obviously, with the book already given out and leaked to many people and the media, nothing the highly respected Judge could have done about stopping it…BUT, strong & powerful statements & rulings on MONEY & on BREAKING CLASSIFICATION were made Bolton broke the law and has been called out and rebuked for so doing, with a really big price to pay. He likes dropping bombs on people, and killing them. Now he will have bombs dropped on him!
Setting aside again rhetoric that sounds like it’s threatening violence, the tweet is nonsensical in that the judge ruled that the book can be published. The battle over money will play out, but Bolton was given a big advance, so if there are issues of money and profits, the publisher likely will suffer the brunt of that.
Trump appears to have protested too much, as he has been trying to convince the nation that the book is full of fabrications and lies. That’s a lot of focus by Trump on something that he claims is not factual. We all would probably like to be in “the room where [the degradation of Trump’s mental functions] happened” to learn exactly what has caused a diminishment of capacity that started out small – like his hands.
