In the room where it happened

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. It’s the battle of the slime bags! Donald Trump against Ron DeSantis. Trump posted on Truth Social saying he’d heard a “roomer” that Ron was planning to drop out of the presidential race.

“Roomer are strong in political circles that Ron desanctimonious whose presidential run is a shambles and whose poll numbers have absolutely crashed putting him in third and forth in some states will be dropping out of the presidential race.”

Roomer? Is this like a new profession? Maybe a roomer is somebody who builds rooms for people. Who knows? Trump suggested that DeSantis plans instead to make a run for the Senate challenging Rick Scott. This would be a disgusting and horrible race if ever there was one.

The truth is Trump might not be wrong. DeSantis is a walking,( rarely talking), boorish, political talking point. He is likely never to get the Republican nomination, and even Ron might just have one iota of intelligence to realize that. Still, this could just be Trump spreading lies again, which he seems to do on an hourly basis.

The bottom line is, I predict neither of these goons will be the Republican nominee. We’ve got one guy who might be in prison by the time the election rolls around, and we’ve got another guy who puts chalk on the blackboard to shame with his irritating voice. I don’t believe either of them stand a chance, but I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.
