In the end, even Brett Kavanaugh wasn’t willing to try to save Donald Trump
Just how thoroughly did Donald Trump lose the election? In the end, even Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett weren’t willing to stick their necks out for what they knew would have been a losing cause.
And why would they? Barrett is trying to establish long term viability, and Kavanaugh is just hoping the DOJ doesn’t ring him up for felony perjury. In the end, these types always care more about protecting themselves than they do about saving a “friend” like Trump.
Now we get to wait and see how long it takes Trump to start ranting on Twitter that the Supreme Court Justices he appointed are part of the Deep State conspiracy against him. Then again, we don’t really have to wait. Who cares what Trump tweets at this point? He’s finished.
