No wonder Robert Mueller gave immunity to star Trump-Russia witness George Nader

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Back in January, Palmer Report brought you the story of how international political operative George Nader had begun cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Then in March we learned that Mueller had taken the unusual step of giving Nader immunity, something he isn’t known to have given to anyone else in the Trump-Russia scandal. Now we’re learning why Mueller considers Nader to be such a crucial Trump-Russia star witness.

On some level, Nader’s importance in the Trump-Russia investigation has been out in the open all along. Nader set up the Seychelles meeting between Donald Trump associate Erik Prince and the Russians. Nader is also closely connected to United Arab Emirates, thus connecting him to Jared Kushner’s alleged pay-to-play scheme with UAE. In addition, Nader has connections to Trump-Russia figures like Steve Bannon. But now it turns out Nader’s real value is that he’s connected directly to Russia itself, in ways that weren’t previously known.

Nader has negotiated major international financial deals on behalf of the Russian government, according to new reporting from the New York Times. He’s also negotiated deals between the UAE and Russia. He’s even taken a selfie with Vladimir Putin. In other words, Nader isn’t merely connected to various figures in Donald Trump’s orbit. He appears to be in position to connect the dots between these people and Russia. That puts Nader in position to take down a whole lot of important people for having conspired with Russia.

Michael Flynn and Rick Gates are crucial cooperating witnesses in the Trump-Russia scandal, but Robert Mueller refused to give either of them immunity. Instead he was willing to wait for months on end for Flynn and Gates to eventually settle for plea deals involving prison time. In contrast, Mueller has quickly handed immunity to George Nader. That tells you how important Mueller views Nader’s testimony when it comes to blowing the Trump-Russia scandal wide open.
