Donald Trump launches deranged attack on Governor of Illinois, gives something away in the process
As his failure becomes complete, Donald Trump keeps finding new ways to embarrass himself. Trump has spent the past week dishonestly attacking the Governors of New York and California, in an effort to deflect the blame for his inept mishandling of the coronavirus crisis. Now Trump has settled on a new target:
.
.@JBPritzker, Governor of Illinois, and a very small group of certain other Governors, together with Fake News @CNN & Concast (MSDNC), shouldn’t be blaming the Federal Government for their own shortcomings. We are there to back you up should you fail, and always will be!

The thing is, Donald Trump is giving something away here. He’s flat out asserting that the federal government is merely there to “back up” the Governors of individual states during the coronavirus crisis. He’s demonstrated a total inability to lead, so now he’s going to try to frame this disaster as being the Governors’ fault. Now what we know what his strategy is going to be, we have to make sure it won’t stick.
