“If she wins here…”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. “It’s close here in North Carolina. It always is. This was Biden-Harris’s closest loss in 2020, only 1.3 percent. So, the fact that Kamala Harris as Vice president of the United States, has been to North Carolina 17 times shows that she cares about our state.” That was North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, commenting on Harris winning the tar heel state. He added that if Kamala Harris wins the state, she will win the Presidency.

“She knows that if she wins North Carolina, she is the next President of the United States because Trump has no other pathway.” Friends and readers, it’s true. And we CAN win North Carolina. It is very much in play. North Carolina has seen many changes lately, many of them not for the better. For example, Republicans were able to get a super-majority in the North Carolina House, which meant they were able to override much of Governor Cooper’s agenda. They put an abortion ban in place. LGBTQ rights have been pushed aside, And they have a maniac running for governor.

Mark Robinson is a wackadoodle. He has, in the past, said women should not have the right to vote. He has blamed rape on women not being able to keep their skirts on. I kid you not. He is a sick man who has been losing in virtually every poll so far. This means nothing, though, as we do know ticket splitting goes on. So we must remember this beautiful and tranquil state.

Sweet, sweet North Carolina, we are going to protect you with our voices and our votes; we want you to be the lovely and welcoming place that you’ve always been. We do not want to see your beautiful sweeping blue ridge mountains filled with the echoes of Nazi apologists. We must, friends and readers- we MUST- do everything we can in the tar heel state to get Kamala Harris elected.
