Donald Trump sounds like a drunk kindergartner during bizarre meltdown
Donald Trump is a career criminal, a racist, a malignant narcissist, a serial sexual assaulter, a pathological liar, a money launderer, and a traitor who conspired with a foreign enemy to rig his own election, so it’s not as if we need any additional reasons to disqualify him from being President of the United States. Nonetheless, he keeps giving us more reasons.
For instance, in addition to everything else that’s inherently unsuitable about him, Donald Trump’s long-addled brain has all but ceased functioning altogether. Whether the pressure of losing the midterms and having Robert Mueller breathing down his neck has finally broken him, or his signs of early-stage dementia are no longer particularly early-stage, Trump now sounds something like a drunk kindergartner.
For instance, while touring the devastating California fires yesterday, Trump was asked if seeing the devastation first hand has changed his views on climate change. His response: “No. I want great climate.” No really, that’s what he said, as relayed by NBC News. This comes after he tried to tell Fox News that the fire was somehow caused by insufficient raking, even as he rambled grotesquely about how the bodies of the victims were “burned beyond recognition” – because that’s what everyone wants to hear from their, ahem, president right now.
We know why Donald Trump won’t admit climate change is real, and why he’s pushing for forests to be chopped down instead; one of his wealthy conservative puppet masters has obviously put him up to it. The corruption is nothing new. The real trouble here is that even when Trump has been given a script to follow, he can’t even speak anymore. He seems to know his brain is fading too. When he bragged this week that he completed his Trump-Russia interview questions without any help from his attorneys, it was a desperate attempt at covering up the fact that he probably didn’t even understand the questions. This guy is cratering in the cognitive department.
