I like our chances
Anytime anyone has asked me lately whether I think Kamala Harris is going to win the 2024 election, my response has been that you shouldn’t be wasting your time asking me the question, and that you should be spending your time trying to get more votes for Kamala. My response isn’t meant to be rude. Instead it’s aimed at pointing out that a close election like this will end up going whichever way you, through your action or inaction, decide to make it go.
That said, I like our chances. That’s mainly because I’ve seen so many of you indeed getting involved. A lot of you are phone banking or door knocking. Not everyone is in a position to do that, but a lot of you are doing something as simple as getting a few like minded people around you to go out and vote. I see this trend within the Palmer Report community. I see it on social media in general. And it all points to our favor.
We’re also seeing this translate in a statistical manner. Kamala Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon just said that a lot of people who don’t traditionally vote are indeed showing up and voting early for Kamala. In other words your efforts, my efforts, the campaign’s efforts, everyone’s efforts are working right now. We’re all succeeding in driving turnout, which is how we win.
So let’s keep it going. Let’s each agree to find a way to get Kamala Harris some more votes over the next week. There are a million of you reading this. Do the math. If you each do just a small amount to get a few more people to the polls, it will make the difference and we will win. As I said, I like our chances. Now go out and prove me right.
