“I feel like a drug dealer”
Sometimes things take a long time to work out, but ultimately, after a bit of a wait, these things come home to roost, balancing the scales of that elusive thing we call justice. Such a thing is going on right now. Right now, my friends, there is a plane soaring high above, filled with crimes. The crimes of fake electors.
This lavish plane has already had many layovers. It has stopped in Georgia and Michigan and appeared in Arizona and continues to fly unfettered , making its brilliant landing today in the dairy state. Wisconsin.
Three Trump sycophants, including the odious Kenneth Chesebro, have been charged. They’ve been accused of crimes for what they tried to do, which was illegal. There is no ending in sight for these bumbling enemies of democracy.
Mike Roman is another who was charged. He served as head of election Day operations for convicted felon Donald John Trump. James Troupis is a former judge, and Trump’s former campaign attorney was also charged. These people are charged with: felony forgery.
In one reported message that the prosecutors mentioned in their filing, Chesebro wrote on January 4, 2021, that it was Roman’s task to deliver the fake elector slates. The filing remarks that a law student was flown to meet with Chesebro in DC.
This reportedly happened on January 5. The law student reportedly wrote, “Five minutes until I make the drop. I feel like a drug dealer.” Nice. You do know that drug dealing is not something to brag about. These fake electors and those who enabled them include Trump ARE, in a sense drug dealers, for they dealt in lies that would seek to overturn democracy.
The fact is that Justice may take a while, but she usually comes through. Will the king of criminality, Donald Trump, be charged? I do not rule it out. Who knows when the indictment may pop up? Who knows what state this metaphorical plane I described will land in next? It is not over yet. Quite the contrary, it may be only the beginning for Donald Trump.
