How Donald Trump gets dragged off the campaign trail kicking and screaming

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

I have long been fascinated by the Great Sphinx. The story is that she sat high on a mountain cliff, near Thebes. She acted as its guardian by using a riddle that she would demand any traveler who came into contact with her solve. If they could not solve it, the great Sphinx devoured them.

And in the wake of Donald Trump’s fate, which is looking increasingly catastrophic, as I shall demonstrate to you in a moment, I have a riddle for you. What is one who regularly receives visitors but does not breathe? Before giving the answer, I want to talk a bit about Trump and how Palmer Report’s predictions are indeed coming to fruition.

We said all along Trump would be indicted, and so he has been. We said it would happen multiple times — it has. And we said all this would make it increasingly harder for Trump to run a presidential campaign. And that is happening right now.

More and more people are finally admitting that the future looks bleak for Donald Trump and that it is becoming extremely difficult to see how he will run a campaign. CNN’s senior legal analyst, Elie Honig, said this in an interview with Mediaite.

Honig said Trump will have difficulty campaigning because of his upcoming trial schedule “Criminal charges, you have to be there,” Honig said. “Imagine if he has two or three back-to-back trials that go for six months. He can’t do any of the campaigning stuff. Yeah. that will take him off the trail.”

Yes it will. Yet, Trump and some Republicans appear not to have thought about that delicious morsel of information. Sure, some in the Maga world would vote for him anyway. But Trump as a viable candidate in a general election, that’s laughable.

Because at the end of the day, the voters in the middle, these moderate and independent voters, will decide the election’s outcome. They will not vote for a convicted jailbird locked up in an orange jumpsuit, unable to speak to his voters, let alone launch a viable campaign.

So fear not readers! And now we go back to that riddle because the answer to that riddle is why Trump has virtually no chance of winning.

Again: What is one who regularly receives visitors but does not breathe? The answer is — justice. The scales of justice who receive many, including Trump, who are brought to them to await judgment day.
