House Republicans just stepped in it

Republicans cannot seem to make rational decisions anymore. EVERY decision they make, everything they decide to do about ANY issue, shows them as the rotating typhoon that they are, as they continue to storm muddy rivers, effortlessly plucking up bad decisions and lunacy as they whirl onward.

It’s being reported that, once again, the House GOP is in limbo. This is because they desperately — ever so pathetically – want to hold Merrick Garland, head of the Justice Department, in contempt for not breaking the law and giving them private information.

Now, here is where it gets dicey. As of this writing, they do not have the votes to do that You know how they are hanging onto the House Speaker’s gavel by a thread — just a thread. So they do need every vote. Well, they don’t have every vote, so once again, they put the cart before the horse, and the horse is pretty miserable right now.

Sources say at least two Republicans say they will not vote for this measure, and with good reason, that reason being the measure is idiotic and will make Republicans more laughing stocks than they already are. There might be more than two.

I wonder. Are the House Republicans all masochists or something? I really have never seen a group of comic book characters like these, people who so-very, very warmly embrace, welcome and snuggle with humiliation and shame so often. Perhaps they were simply born this way.

In any event, so yes, today, the House GOP struggles. Tomorrow, they will also struggle. They will struggle next week and the week after that, dazed and confused little mealy-mouthed mentally obtuse idiots , and then when we wrench control of the house from their pathetic shoulders, their jaws will drop, they’ll swivel around and simply say: HUH? Then we will be laughing all the way to the Speaker’s gavel.
