House Republicans are taking it on the chin already

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

“Shut up!” “Go away!” “Oh God!” “Next question!” The people who launched the temper tantrum described above are not kids. They are part of the Republican House Caucus. They launched this tantrum after a reporter asked now-Speaker Mike Johnson about his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. This question was asked shortly before the vote occurred.

The words above were some replies. The House caucus members surrounding Johnson and Johnson himself refused to answer the question. Instead, they responded with screams and catcalls. Mature, aren’t they? And now this episode is the subject of a scathing indictment of the Republican House by the editorial board of the ST. Louis Post-Dispatch.

This editorial, published on Friday, goes scorched earth on the GOP, saying Johnson, with his dirty attempts to subvert democracy, has disqualified himself from being House Speaker.
hey specifically cite the press conference mentioned above.

They say that true conservatives care about the law. True conservatives are respectful of the constitution. They say that the House is now being led by a man who “assertively attempted to disenfranchise millions of voters at the behest of a president determined to hold onto power.”

“That is not conservative at all,” they write. They also say: “It should give pause to anyone, of any party or political philosophy who values democracy.” It is a scathing editorial, and there is not one false word in it. Unlike republicans in the House, this editorial does something the GOP has long since abandoned — it tells the truth.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
