House Republican Madison Cawthorn is talking exactly like a domestic terrorist
Let’s imagine we were on a game show. We are trying to figure out “who made that quote.” So here’s your first quote: “If we bend the knee to the Democrats today, our country will be lost forever, and our children will never know what freedom is.”
And: “I don’t feel an overwhelming sense of darkness as if the devil has complete dominion of that area. Because I feel a spiritual battle going on on Capitol Hill.”
Who said it? Perhaps these words were spoken by a terrorist. Or one of the January 6th insurrectionists? Nope. These words came out of the mouth of North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn.
Cawthorn is also imploring the Christian church to stand up against the “tyranny” of the Democratic party. This is not the first time Cawthorn has acted out. Far from it. I strongly feel as though his behavior will only get worse and worse.
Cawthorn’s been in the news quite a bit lately and not just for his hate speech. He was caught trying to smuggle a gun onboard an airplane. He was ALSO caught trying to smuggle a knife into a teacher’s meeting.
He also warned that if elections remained “rigged,” it would lead to “bloodshed.” This doesn’t sound like a Congressman to me. It sounds like a member of the Taliban. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) is a watchdog organization, and they say they want to see consequences for this hate speech. I must say I do agree.
There are also many calling for him to be stripped of any and all committee assignments. Cawthorn should not even BE in Congress as he isn’t fit to be in the same room as people such as warrior Pelosi. He is without a doubt a trouble maker and he needs to be treated as such.
