House Democrats stick it to Jim Jordan
Even as Cassidy Hutchinson was giving public testimony that should be enough to ensure Donald Trump and Mark Meadows end up in federal prison, the official “House Judiciary GOP” Twitter account was busy making the false claim that Hutchinson’s first hand testimony was mere “hearsay.”
That’s not what hearsay is. But Jim Jordan, who is believed to be the person who posted the tweet, has bigger problems than not understanding how the law or the dictionary works. Jordan was name checked today as having been on the phone with Trump during the January 6th debacle.
Accordingly, House Democrat Jerry Nadler fired back at Jim Jordan with this tweet: “I understand the Select Committee is still seeking testimony from Jim Jordan if the Ranking Member cares to contradict any of the testimony he heard today.” Somehow we don’t expect Jordan to testify.
