House Democrats move to subpoena Elon Musk
Donald Trump has committed numerous crimes against the United States over the past two weeks, but it’s possible that the unelected Elon Musk has committed even more crimes against the United States during the same period.
House Democrats moved to subpoena Elon Musk today, in an effort to force him to come in and answer questions about the ways in which he’s been illegally taking over various federal agencies.
As one would have expected, House Republicans, who have the majority, overruled the subpoena. But this at least gets big headlines out there about how the Democrats are trying to subpoena Musk, which helps draw further public attention to the fact that Musk is completely out of control.
On a more concrete level, the Democrats are also fighting in court to expose Elon Musk antics behind the scenes, and get him forcibly shut down. These kinds of battles have to be fought in court and in the court of public opinion, and we’re seeing that happen on both fronts.
