House Democrats are making their move against Paul Gosar

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

House Democrats are planning to introduce a resolution to censure the piece of garbage that is Paul Gosar.

Gosar (evil, insurrection party) is both an idiot and a violent and hateful man. He is also batshit crazy, so this resolution is a good idea.

Many are saying it is not enough. Most are saying he needs to be expelled from Congress.

I am in agreement with that, but it will not happen.

The reason it will not happen can be summed up in two pitiful words: Kevin McCarthy.

Kevin is too much of a coward to do anything about Gosar. After all, his focus appears to be punishing fellow Republicans who dared to vote yes on improving America’s roads and bridges. A little thing like a video depicting Gosar murdering a Congresswoman? Naw — that appears just dandy in the messed-up world of McCarthy.

McCarthy has lost control of his caucus. He is both a weak leader and a cowardly individual. To expel Gosar, the Dems would need two-thirds of the vote, which is unlikely to happen. A resolution to censure, on the other hand, can pass with a simple majority. As for Gosar, it will be interesting to see how other Republicans vote.

Some, of course, will want to check in with their master, Donald Trump. As all of us are well aware, the GOP does not make decisions these days without Trump’s approval, so I imagine there will be some who vote no.

It does not matter. Gosar will be censured. It is not enough, but it’s something. Yes, we all want to see his ass expelled (and I’d like to see him in jail), but that is unlikely to happen.) This is a good thing the HouseDemocrats are doing, and we thank them for taking this seriously.
