Just hours from reporting to federal prison, George Papadopoulos throws a revealing final tantrum

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier today, a federal judge struck down George Papadopoulos’ last minute attempt at delaying the inevitable, and ruled that Papadopoulos will indeed have to report to prison tomorrow. He’s set to serve an unusually short fourteen day prison sentence, so you’d think he might simply lay low, get it over with, and get back to his family. Instead, Papadopoulos is throwing a tantrum which may give something away.

After learning that he’s headed to prison tomorrow, George Papadopoulos posted this rather strange tweet: “The truth will all be out. Not even a prison sentence can stop that momentum. Looking forward to testifying publicly shortly after. The wool isn’t going to be pulled over America’s eyes forever. Much love.” Wait, what momentum? What public testimony? What is this delusional loon even talking about? Let’s parse this.

“Momentum” appears to be in reference to the increasingly bizarre conspiracy theories that Papadopoulos has been tweeting in recent weeks. He seems to have convinced himself that there’s some massive yet ill-defined worldwide conspiracy against him, and that it’s in the process of being magically exposed by no one in particular. Okay, so he’s not playing with a full deck. But what’s this about testifying publicly?

If the House Democrats haul George Papadopoulos in to testify about Trump-Russia, it will very much not go in his favor. Nor will they necessarily let him testify publicly, as he would simply spend the entire time pushing fictional pro-Trump claims. Instead, Papadopoulos appears to have given away that the Republican Senate is planning to bring him in and let him spew his delusional garbage in front of the C-SPAN cameras. So be it. If Trump and the GOP are relying on this guy to bail them out, then they have no plan.
