Hours after holding him in contempt, New York courts just ruled against Donald Trump AGAIN

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier today a New York judge found Donald Trump in contempt of court over his refusal to turn over documents related to the New York Attorney General’s investigation of the Trump Organization. The judge hit Trump with penalties of $10,000 per day, which the judge can increase if Trump doesn’t swiftly comply. Now the courts have ruled against Trump again.

This evening the New York courts ruled that a major commercial real estate company must turn over the records of all of its dealings with the Trump Organization. Whereas Donald Trump might just refuse to comply and let the courts begin taking his assets to pay for the contempt fines, this real estate firm is far more likely to just go ahead and comply. After all, it wants to remain in business, and being held in contempt for protecting Trump would be antithetical to remaining in business.

So now New York Attorney General Letitia James has managed to get Donald Trump held in contempt of court, and managed to get the courts to order a close Trump real estate partner to turn over incriminating evidence, all in one day. The courts tend to take a long time to get to a ruling like this, even when there’s an obvious right and wrong. But once a judge actually goes so far as to drop the hammer, let’s just say that being held in contempt of court is not a place you want to be.
