Donald Trump just tweeted out history’s least desirable missed connection ad

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“After some very important meetings, including my meeting with President Xi of China, I will be leaving Japan for South Korea (with President Moon). While there, if Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!” And just like that, Donald Trump tweeted out history’s least desirable missed connection ad.

Let me put this into some perspective for you. Donald Trump just asked the deranged leader of a nation with the destruction of the US as one of its core foreign policy positions to join him in a meeting in what is easily considered one of the most heavily militarized areas on earth, all the while Trump should be negotiating a trade deal with President Xi of China so as to avert an economic disaster and deescalating tensions with President Putin of Russia, both of whom are directly and indirectly funding North Korea with the specific intent of keeping it as a thorn in the US’s side.

Not only is Trump dumber than he looks, he’s even dumber than we thought he was. Trump’s obsession with being seen meeting with Kim Jong-Un plays perfectly with the Russian and Chinese goal of making Trump look weak at the negotiating table, not to mention it legitimizes North Korea as a power that has earned a seat at the negotiating table with the most powerful nation on earth. Kim will never acquiesce to anything Trump wants. Kim has nothing to lose by meeting with Trump and everything to gain, like Trump voluntarily giving up joint military exercises on the peninsula with South Korea.

Trump purports to exude an image as a butch, strong leader, when he is indeed a sad, desperate man whose mission in life is to remedy lifelong parental disapproval by acquiring the approval of every individual member of the 21st century’s axis of evil. This week he’ll be shaking hands with Kim, next week he’ll be giving Duterte a food massage, and next month he’ll be adopting a puppy with Bolsonaro.

Think about it. If you love this country and have an interest in keeping us on top, you have to ask yourself if Trump is keeping us there. I’ll give you a hint, he isn’t. Be a patriot and vote him out. I miss the days when American presidents stood up for America when world leaders and foreign nations treated us like trash, and you should too.
