Donald Trump’s latest tweet suggests he’s high on something
We’ve all seen Donald Trump give public performances where he was overly agitated, paranoid, sniffing repeatedly, and appeared to be amped up on something like cocaine or an overdose of Adderall. We’ve also seen Trump give public performances where he was half conscious, slurring his words, and seemingly pumped full of tranquilizers. Now he’s posted a new tweet which suggests he’s high on something else entirely.
Here’s what Trump tweeted this afternoon, even as his government shutdown turns disastrous, and he’s being further exposed as a Russian spy who committed treason: “Wish I could share with everyone the beauty and majesty of being in the White House and looking outside at the snow filled lawns and Rose Garden. Really is something – SPECIAL COUNTRY, SPECIAL PLACE!” Wait, what?
It’s not that there’s anything inherently wrong with this tweet. In fact we could see various past presidents posting a tweet like this and genuinely meaning it. But there is nothing in Donald Trump’s malignant sociopathic narcissist personality that would ever allow him to feel these kinds of emotions, or even fake it by coming up with these words. So is Trump now high on some kind of hallucinogenic drug?
The bottom line is that either Donald Trump is addicted to numerous kinds of drugs, or he’s so mentally unstable, his severe mood swings cause him to come off as being high on various drugs. It’s not clear which of those is even worse than the other.
