Jack Smith’s filing that Donald Trump should not have presidential immunity is an excellent, extensive juicy filing that tells us just how good a prosecutor he is. What Smith did in this filing is to use as hypothetical examples the high crimes that Trump could potentially commit, where he to get this blanket immunity he so desperately craves.

Some of these crimes include but are not limited to: Ordering FBI agents to fake evidence Selling Nuclear secrets. Accepting a bribe. Ordering a military association. All of this was wrapped in an 82-page briefing that Smith submitted to the court over the holiday weekend.

“In each of these scenarios, the President could assert that he was simply executing the laws.” Smith lists all of these crimes and argues that these high crimes COULD be committed by Trump with no consequence were he to receive blanket immunity.

“The implications of the defendant’s broad immunity theory are sobering,” Smith’s team wrote. Indeed they are, and it is all Trump’s ever wanted. Blanket immunity to do as he so pleases, create mayhem, break the law, commit high crimes, all of this forms the inner core of the sociopath that is Donald Trump.

However it will not happen. Donald Trump will not get his heart’s desire — which is to commit high crimes with impunity. It’s not going to happen and he is indeed in delusion-land if he thinks that it will.
