Hey Donald, don’t look now…

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

William Webster has something to say about some of Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees. Webster is a legend, having led both the FBI AND the CIA. The man knows his stuff. He also knows that some of Donald Trump’s cabinet picks are walking disasters.

Webster wrote a letter to the Senate, which he released on Thursday. In it, he wrote that neither Tulsi Gabbert nor Kash Patel are qualified for the positions Trump nominated them for. Webster spoke in this letter about Kash Patel’s unwavering loyalty to Trump, suggesting that this could cause problems for him on the job.

“His record of executing the president’s directives suggest a loyalty to individuals rather than the rule of law.” As for Gabbard, Webster wrote she does not have the experience to be in this leadership role. He then urged the Senate to “weigh the critical importance of nonpartisan leadership and experience.” “The safety of the American people — and your own families — depends on it.”

Indeed, it does. But I don’t know how many Republicans will find and use their backbones. I have no doubt Tulsi will be one of the most difficult to confirm. She reportedly didn’t just do a bad job meeting with senators on Capitol Hill; she flopped bigly. Very few are impressed with her qualifications—or lack thereof.

Let’s put it this way: Would you agree to fly on a plane being flown by a person without a professional pilot’s license? Would you embark on a nautical journey with a captain who’d never sailed? These types of questions are essential. They’re important because whoever fills these positions, MUST knows what they’re doing.

Patel would lead the FBI, and Tulsi would lead National Intelligence. These tough jobs require long hours and a degree of knowledge of how all the moving parts fit together. Experience, grit, and fortitude will be needed for the leaders of these agencies.

If one or more of our allies sends an SOS signal, they need to know that the ones receiving the signal know what an SOS signal actually IS and can respond immediately.

If danger is seen in the distance, we must know leaders are equipped to understand these dangers. We need challenging, take-no-prisoners leaders, and instead, Trump has given us wide-eyed, china-doll children, MAGA faithful who do not walk with sure feet and who seem to know nothing about the positions they’ve been nominated for.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
