Herschel Walker’s new campaign strategy: claiming he nearly MURDERED a guy?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

All eyes are on Georgia – the race that determined control of the Senate in 2021 and may do so again in not quite two years’ time. While many of us are rightfully focused on flipping a seat in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or North Carolina, the fact remains that flipping seats doesn’t do us much good if we lose a Senate seat – so there’s very little room for error if we want to get the best possible Senate outcome in 2022 – ideally with Democrats winning 52 or more seats.

Georgia is a state that has only recently trended blue – with large metropolitan stretches of the state particularly in Atlanta that delivered the presidency to Joe Biden and the Senate to Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock – and therefore, it’s fertile ground for the GOP to set up a solid candidate. Unfortunately, their latest celebrity-turned-politician boosted by the former guy is anything but that. Shortly after senate hopeful Herschel Walker managed to clinch the Republican nomination, an array of scandals about illegitimate children plagued his campaign, angering even his own staffers who were blindsided by the story.

Now, another scandal has hit Walker – who has already been accused of domestic violence and a well-documented history of saying imbecilic things on tape. There’s not just videos of Walker ranting about unhinged COVID conspiracies – but those have been used against him already – a new tape has surfaced of Walker rambling about being an FBI agent (he isn’t) and then proceeding to talk about how he nearly killed someone in an unprovoked attack. Polls of the race show his rival, incumbent Sen. Warnock with a comfortable lead but this race is likely to come down to something much tighter and it’s one we can’t afford to lose. Do whatever you can to volunteer or donate to Sen. Raphael Warnock to help him win re-election to a full term.
