Herschel Walker’s campaign staffers are on the verge of revolting against him
He’s a pathological liar – he’s lied so much that we don’t know what’s true. This might sound like an ad going negative against your political opponent – even if it is a bit extreme, but it’s actually just a few of the things that campaign aides are saying about Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker. Let it sink in that it’s his own staffers talking like that. Walker has already embarrassed himself on video numerous times making false or wildly ignorant statements – and this is despite the GOP trying to keep a limit on the number of appearances he makes in public.
Leaks from his campaign, at a time when polling shows incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock significantly outperforming Walker in the state, is pretty much the last thing the GOP needs at this point. The quotes come from texts and emails exchanged by at least three unhappy staffers – at a time when Walker should be doing everything he can to not just rally the base – but also to get independent-leaning voters on his side – something that he’s going to have a difficult time doing if he can’t shake his image as an extremist or his association with the former guy who strongly backed him in the primaries. The good news is we don’t need another Walker scandal to support Sen. Warnock’s bid for re-election. Let’s do all we can to help Sen. Warnock win re-election on November 8.
