Herschel Walker gets ripped to pieces by his own son as his campaign and personal life implode
When the news broke on Monday that Herschel Walker had previously paid for a woman to have an abortion, it looked like he was going to have a pretty bad day. After all, he’s running for Senate as a Republican, and he’s taken the position that abortion should be illegal. But then Walker’s son got involved, and things got a whole lot worse.
Herschel Walker’s son Christian Walker is known for his deranged extremist far right political views, and up until now, his public support for his father’s campaign. But that last part just changed. Christian Walker unloaded on his father in a lengthy Twitter tirade on Monday night:
I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us.
You’re not a “family man” when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.
I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some “moral, Christian, upright man.” You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you.
Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one. He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it.
So now comes the question of what the fallout will look like. Now that Christian Walker is openly siding with his mother against his father, will that continue? Will he keep attacking Herschel Walker? Will more ugly scandals surface? It feels like this implosion may be just getting started.
All that said, Georgia is a purple state, which pretty much by definition means that each Senate candidate will get about 45% of the vote right off the bat, based on party lines alone, regardless of candidate quality. It shouldn’t be that way, but it is. So no matter how radioactive Herschel Walker becomes, he’ll likely remain in contention all the way up until the end. To keep that lunatic Walker out of the Senate, you must support Democrat Raphael Warnock. Volunteer or donate.
