Herschel Walker fumbles

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Senator Raphael Warnock. This Georgia race has our name on it! It is a race we simply must win. And now a new poll has come out. And it shows Warnock with a strong lead. If this Quinnipiac poll is correct — Warnock leads Walker by double digits — 10 wonderful points.

And the Georgia Governor’s race is a dead heat. In this poll, the numbers are 54% to 44%. Warnock leads with 54%, and Walker has 44%. (It’s also worth pointing out that a different poll released three weeks ago had this race tied).

There could be many reasons for this. The overturning of Roe certainly could factor in — especially since Herschel Walker favors a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape and incest. Nice! (sarcasm.) Or it could be that Georgia voters have realized what we’ve all tried to tell them in regards to Walker – that the lights are on, but nobody’s home.

Ir it could be the fact that independents — a very important voting block — have moved away from Walker. Warnock leads with independent voters, with 62% of them favoring warnock. Quinnipiac polling analyst Tim Malloy had this to say: “Herschel Walker fumbles on honesty and tumbles on favorability.”

Now, that does not mean anything is decided. We have to run like Warnock is 50 points behind. Georgia is one of the states making it tough for people to vote. We must fight tooth and nail for Warnock and not stop until he’s over the finish line. But this poll is good news indeed. You can support Senator Warnock’s reelection campaign here.
