Here’s your October surprise

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

October will be here before we know it. October is such a nostalgic month. October is the gift autumn hands us before the rough days of winter fall around us. October is the time of sweetness in the air, of pumpkins, pumpkin spice, maple syrup and leaves stirring. October is immortalized in the oh-so-short but achingly sweet little poem of a song by U2 aptly entitled “October.” October is often a gift for politicians. This is because of the term I am sure you’ve heard. This is because of the: “October surprise.”

Yes, October is sometimes only a happy time for SOME politicians. I have so much to say about October – and Donald John Trump. Poor Donald. Poor, poor little Donald. He isn’t going to like this.

See, something is heading our way. Its arrival will come in October, a time of greenery, a time of brightly colored leaves, and of October surprises, often making thin-skinned politicians lose their minds,

“The Apprentice.” Not the SHOW — the MOVIE! Yes, there is a film called The Apprentice. It debuted at Cannes in May. Trump tried to prevent the film from being released. You can see how well THAT worked for him.

OCTOBER 11. That is the date this film will be released in American movie theaters. Weeks. Before. Election. Day. Poor Donald! Poor, poor little Donald. He may need a baby stroller.

“Pure malicious defamation.” That’s what a Trump campaign spokesperson had to say about the film. Of course, that means we must see it and tell others to see it. Trump is still threatening litigation over it. You see, the film is reportedly showing a particular scene that the sexual assaulter doesn’t like.

It shows him sexually assaulting his first wife. Ah — now you understand why this little film is causing so much chaos in the Trump campaign. Steven Cheung, the little monster who represents the trump campaign, called the film a “dumpster fire” that doesn’t even deserve a place in the straight-to DVD section of a bargain bin at a soon-to-be-closed discount movie store.”

Oh no. They (the Trump team) seem a little shaken and stirred, would you not agree? October. It whispers to us as its arrival will soon be here. And SO WILL, at least for now, a movie.– a movie about Donald Trump a mere weeks before the election,– showing him at his very worst..
