Here’s the thing about Donald Trump’s White House meeting with Michigan GOP officials

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Here’s what will happen at the White House tomorrow: a handful of low level Michigan officials will yell stupid things at a press conference, to try to make themselves more popular with Trump’s idiot base. Here’s what will happen in the real world: Michigan will certify its results for Biden on Monday.

Please don’t write in asking what I think will come of Trump’s stunt tomorrow; absolutely nothing will come of it. Trump has literally zero chance of somehow magically trying to overturn the election. My answer isn’t going to change, no matter how much absurd foot stomping Trump does.

This is clearly just a cash grab on Trump’s part and nothing more. The longer he throws silliness at the wall and pretends he’s still “contesting” the election, the longer he can keep fundraising from his gullible rubes. That’s all there is to it, nothing more.

I’m sorry that a few of you are very loudly upset with me because I’m not jumping up and down and panicking over Trump’s election antics, but they simply don’t add up to anything. If you’re still worried that Trump is going to somehow magically overthrow the election, then you’re lost in a haze of fiction. You’re somehow falling for the same silly nonsense that Trump’s supporters are falling for – which should be your first sign that you’ve lost the plot. You should be spending your time working hard to try to win the Georgia Senate runoff races.
