I’ve told you that I am a geography nerd. It’s one of my hobbies, to study this great country. I think of the United States as an extended family, a big, boisterous, rowdy family.

For example, California is the patriarch of the family and the breadwinner, the one whose economy is more powerful than some countries! Florida is the laid-back golden beach girl of our family, her sister Maine is gentle and tranquil , Minnesota is always freezing, New York is Cosmopolitan chic, and every so often, the wayward daughter, Texas asks to be legally emancipated from the family. You get the picture.

Then we get to Virginia Virginia is a government worker .Virginia is kind and caring but her family must give Virginia a sympathetic hug because Virginia has just lost her job.

What I mean by this is that there is no state more closely aligned with the federal government than the state of Virginia.

Virginia, one of the top two states that have produced United States presidents and a top state for Vietnam vets retiring, is also numero Uno regarding its Government workers. Many Virginians work for the government and now some are receiving pink slips, right and left, and Virginia’s Governor Glenn Youngkin appears not to give two shits.

And the governor’s race in Virginia is coming up this year…In November….

Now you see where this is going, my friends. This is a race we’re going to win. We must win. We should have won in the last Governor’s race. I fully intend to phone Bank this year and suggest you help out any way you can.

There’s going to be one pissed-off state that is ripe for change. Governor Youngkin will NOT denounce what Trump is doing to his state, all the firings and believe me there are MANY pissed off Virginians who will be seeking change.

I believe Youngkin is conquerable, but we will have to put a lot of effort into it. Consider this article a gentle nudge; a whisper of something sweet that can come to us, not in the midterms, but this year, if we have the time and energy to do what needs to be done and send the Virginia Governor and his fumbling Donald Trump excuses packing.
