Here’s how you know Donald Trump is losing the Post Office battle

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Postmaster General Louis DeJoy caved by agreeing to testify to the House, it meant he was going to have to keep caving. Sure enough, he’s since further caved by agreeing to move up his testimony by three weeks, and then by agreeing to stop dismantling the Post Office’s functionality. With Nancy Pelosi now piling on with hearings, DeJoy will also have to cave by undoing the changes he’s made up to this point.

But if you really want confirmation that Donald Trump and his team are now firmly losing the Post Office battle, just take a look at this Trump tweet from today: “Why are Republicans allowing the Democrats to have ridiculous Post Office hearings on Saturday & Monday, just before and during our Convention. Let them hold them NOW (during their Convention) or after our Convention is over. Always playing right into their hands!”

As a general rule, if Donald Trump is whining, it means he’s losing. More specifically, when Trump is whining about the Republicans not doing enough to help his deranged agenda, it means he’s really losing. Keep up the pressure on DeJoy so we can finish him off. But don’t think for one minute that we’re going to lose this Post Office battle, because it’s firmly turning in our favor – and even whiny Trump knows it.
