Here we go: Michael Cohen is about to have a field day against Donald Trump
Donald Trump has already lost his New York civil fraud case by summary judgment, and the trial has gone so poorly thus far that it points to massive financial damages against Trump. Now it’s about to get even uglier for Trump, because Michael Cohen is entering the chat.
Michael Cohen is set to testify at the trial tomorrow. Trump now claims that he’ll be there at the trial. But while Trump probably thinks that he can intimidate Cohen by being in the room during Cohen’s testimony, the more realistic outcome is that Trump is going to get himself into trouble.
The last time Trump attended this trial, he got so upset by an accountant’s testimony, he began loudly grumbling under his breath – prompting the judge to tell him to shut up. The same judge has since fined Trump and threatened to lock him up.
So if Trump wants to misbehave during Michael Cohen’s testimony tomorrow, Trump will find out really quickly that there are consequences to such things. For his part, Cohen tweeted this today: “I will continue to speak truth to power.” Cohen is about to have a field day at Trump’s expense.
