Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t yet been offered the nomination, but she has the necessary delegates. Donald Trump isn’t waiting to start attacking her. Because she’s a former prosecutor, we have a good idea that her attacks will go straight to Trump’s criminal conviction in New York and all the other criminal things he has done before, during, and after his “presidency.” Politico reported that Donald Trump called Harris “Dumb as a Rock” on his Truth Social. Harris is anything but dumb. Trump is merely showing his fear at facing her, and he’s in for a rude awakening.

Trump’s team recently released a nasty ad, claiming that Harris knew Biden was infirm but hid it and was doing the work herself. He, of course, blames her for the border crisis because, again, that’s his only stumping point. Surely, he doesn’t honestly believe his attacks on the Biden administration are valid. President Biden accomplished more in his three-and one-half years that many presidents accomplished in eight. Trump’s favorite schtick is to call people “stupid,” which Politico reported he said no fewer than 13 times during his last rally. He will likely employ some of the same attacks on Harris that he leveled against Hillary Clinton because he hates women who assert themselves. He claimed that she “shouted” when she talked, that she didn’t “look” like a president, and that she was a “nasty woman.” He really loves attacking Black female Democrats who have the nerve to go after him, such as Letitia James and Fani Willis. As Politico reported, this kind of talk is what cost him the vote of many women. No one in this situation is stupider than Trump. Did he not think his attacks on women would be taken personally by other women? Did he think they were too dumb to ascertain that he was attacking them as well? Well, he was wrong. Women know it, and they despise him.

Harris is poised to grab all the votes Trump lost, especially college educated and suburban women. That’s a huge block of the vote that is no longer available to him. He has now taken to calling Harris “Border Czar Kamala Harris.” He is an uncontrolled idiot. For her part, Harris is capitalizing on Trump’s bad behavior, saying: “I know Donald Trump’s type.” She will appeal to all the women who took the overturning of Roe v. Wade personally and all the women who can easily see that Republicans want to take women back to times when we had no say. That is not happening in this country. He is also going to invoke the ire of Black women, who have, so far, been rallying around Kamala Harris. According to the Associated Press, a Zoom meeting was held on Sunday to build support for Harris. 90,000 Black women and allies logged in. Executives at Zoom had to use different methods to get them into the meeting, but they did it. Speaking to AP, Aimee Allison said: “I think this is the difference-maker Kamala Harris is injecting into the race.” True excitement is building around Harris, and she looks uniquely positioned to take down Donald Trump.
