Here comes the Democrats’ war room
In the wake of Republicans’ trying to steal Social Security, Dems are fighting back. Dems announced a “war room” has been created to fight any and all changes in Social Security. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is at the forefront of this effort. Ron Wyden of Oregon is also heavily involved.
This war room will serve as a vehicle to lobby against any changes that the GOP tries to implement. It’s an excellent idea, and part of the resistance that has been shining lately with all their — well –resisting. The war room will hold town halls. They will share the stories of constituents on social media. They will visit states, and offer information to voters. They will try to protect Social Security by all means necessary.
This is a great move! And it shows where our priorities are. As Republicans try and chip away at the earth’s foundation, we are chipping away at their cruel and inhumane actions. Now, some Republicans are protesting a wee bit too much. We’re not trying to end Social security, the idiots cry. We just want to get rid of WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE.
Man, I despise those words. I bet Republicans came out of the womb, screaming: WASTE, FRAUD. AND ABUSE. It seems the cat stole their tongues on every issue EXCEPT waste, fraud, and abuse — an imaginary issue. A fictitious issue.
On social media, Elon Musk accused people collecting social security of being “Vampires.” Can someone say Ketamine high? “Maybe twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting social security,” Musk wrote insanely. As we go forward, there is absolutely nobody I trust more than Elizabeth Warren to take charge of this war room. It’s a good idea. Unlike the GOP, we have many.
