Here comes the cherry on top
For months now, we’ve watched as Donald Trump’s comeuppance has come in the form of indictment after indictment. It’s a Sundae, a rich and creamy Sundae, but the cherry on top of this Sundae has yet to arrive. That is Trump’s indictment in Georgia — and his MUGSHOT. Yes, you read that right.
“Trump WILL get a mugshot in Georgia.” These words were said by the sheriff of the county where Trump is looking at an indictment. Now we’ve not had this yet — no mugshots yet for the traitor.
However, THIS Sheriff is vowing — no special treatment Donald Trump. I think our Sundae is in danger of frothing over and spilling. And he will be fingerprinted, says this sheriff. Trump will get no special treatment, the sheriff explained.
Here in Georgia, he said all defendants are treated equally. “It doesn’t matter your status; we’ll have a mugshot ready for you.” He said these words to Atlanta, Georgia’s WSB-TV Channel 2.
There are already barricades that have gone up. We should prepare ourselves. I wonder if Trump knows. If Trump indeed gets a mugshot, believe me, we’ll see that mugshot. It will be routinely passed around on Twitter, the place where tweeters go to gossip. It will be a joy to see it. I do wonder if he’ll comb his hair first.
Trump never reads anything because he either has no interest or cannot read. And I do not know that his lawyers will tell him THIS delicious piece of news. They’re having a tough enough time trying to keep him from being thrown in jail for threatening people.
So, yes, this will be the sundae with the biggest, best, most delicious, sweetest cherry on top — Donald Trump’s mugshot — proof that he’s gone from president to — jailbird.
