Here comes the blowback

It’s like barreling down a crooked, winding Gothic staircase. I’m referring to the fury of the American people, as GOP favorability numbers go down down down as republican congressmen and republican senators are now getting a steady deluge of infuriated calls.

If this were a gothic novel, I think I might call it: “Echoes of red fury.” Reportedly the phones in Congress are ringing off the hook from angry bewildered and furious voters. At this rate, Republicans in the House of Representatives will have to hire more people to man the phone lines. Oh, by the way, I’m not just talking about the house. It’s happening at the Senate too. Reaching out by phone is the most popular way of saying what in HELL are you DOING?

Can you blame people? I imagine some of those calls are coming from people who went to check out their groceries and stared with disbelief at the prices. Then, of course, there are all the people that a little rat by the name of Elon is happily firing as he takes over what was supposed to be Donald Trump‘s job, and skips around town, metaphorically pointing at people and snatching their jobs out from under them.

So yes, I mean, it stands to reason that the American people might just be a little pissed right now. The good news is that this is finally making headlines and being reported on. I hope this continues because we need to hear from the American people. I am hearing very few good things about the Trump administration.

So why aren’t more Republicans speaking out? That’s an easy one to answer: it’s because they are more scared of Donald Trump than they are of their own Voters. It’s always a lethal mistake to make. We will see what happens. We’ll see if Republicans get a spine, but how can you get or find, what you never had to begin with?
