Hell in a handbasket

Donald Trump hasn’t been in office even one month, but he’s already riding a wave of hate – Trump is feuding with, well, everyone. Columbia, check. Mexico, Canada, China, and Greenland. Check. Everyone is speaking out about him. It’s a family feud of epic proportions.
Reports are that Donald Trump‘s conversation about purchasing Greenland went terribly. Mexico seems to despise him; in fact, every country he comes in contact with seems to leave the encounter with an intense dislike for the national embarrassment that is a president.
In contrast, there is former President Joe Biden. When Biden was in Office, he was soft-spoken and effective. As with any career, the ones who talk and scream most often, aren’t necessarily the ones who achieve results.
In the four years Biden was in Office , one never heard of any personal animus he had with any other country. On the contrary, most countries praised Joe Biden highly. And contrary to the media’s never-ending, bleak narrative, Biden proved he was not senile, regularly flying off to meet world leaders on their turf and mixing and mingling.
Trump, on the other hand, appears dazed and confused. In the short time he’s been in the Oval Office, he seems to start an argument with all of the above-mentioned countries, especially with his nonsensible talk of tariffs. If such tariffs do occur, all that will happen is it will plunge the United States into a recession, causing the price of eggs to skyrocket even more than it already has.
Making matters worse for Trump, many of his own voters are starting to get nervous. There are numerous Internet threads on Reddit and other places of people claiming to have voted for Trump now wondering what is going on.
They wonder why Trump shows no sign of fulfilling any of his campaign promises, preferring instead to truth, social out angry vengeful posts in the dead of night, and doing nothing about skyrocketing food costs, which, of course, people are noticing because most people do grocery shopping on a weekly or every other week basis.
However, these voters are also showing extreme concern about tariffs. Trump will not stop talking about them, and other countries will not stop talking about them. If implemented, the whole thing will be hell in a handbasket but that’s Donald Trump for you, is it not?
