Hell freezes over as Donald Trump praises Rachel Maddow
As recently as a few days ago, Donald Trump and his 2020 campaign were directly attacking Rachel Maddow because she dared to point out that Trump called the coronavirus a “hoax.” Now, in a sign that hell has frozen over, Trump is praising Rachel Maddow. Wait, what?
Last night Rachel Maddow aired an interview with Lieutenant General Todd Semonite from the Army Corps of Engineers, who explained the Army’s efforts in helping coronavirus-infected cities. The interview was informative and nonpartisan. Now, in an odd twist, Donald Trump is tweeting a video of the entire interview, and is thanking Maddow for airing it:

We’re sure Donald Trump has some kind of ulterior motive for doing this. In any case it’s the latest sign that we’re living in truly strange times.
