GSA Administrator Emily Murphy’s antics are starting to crumble

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

– Congrats to GSA Administrator Emily Murphy, who is holding up the transition and now has 40,000 negative replies on her most recent tweet, with just 800 likes. Didn’t know it was even possible to get ratioed like that.

– Last night Emily Murphy accidentally tweeted this string of random nonsense in some kind of accidental butt tweet, before quickly deleting it: “Dcccf Rex zzz. @#z@smaan anaNN.” Let’s just assume that counts as her signature and start the transition period.

– With the news last night that some Trump White House officials have begun reaching out to the Biden transition team behind Donald Trump’s back, it’s a sign that Emily Murphy’s antics are starting to crumble. That was predictable. Her refusal to sign a document is not a magic wand. At the end of the day, real world leverage always wins out on that kind of thing, and Trump’s leverage is disintegrating by the hour.

– Donald Trump has reportedly invited some of Michigan’s Republican officials to the White House tomorrow. I don’t care. None of this is going anywhere. It’s embarrassing, aggravating, and criminal. But none of it is going to somehow magically overturn the election. And with new polling that shows just 12% of Americans think Trump should never concede, this is no longer even a thing in the real world. Trump is pandering to a smaller and smaller group of hangers-on, and nothing more.
