During his profoundly disconcerting press conference today, Donald Trump flat out admitted that he told Mike Pence not to work with certain Governors in the coronavirus crisis because he sees them as political adversaries. Trump specifically attacked Washington Governor Jay Inslee, and “the woman in Michigan.”

That was a reference to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who appeared on CNN immediately after Trump’s failed press conference and fired back accordingly:
