Governor of Nevada rips Donald Trump to pieces

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

With his prospects in must-win states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin seemingly slipping away from him, Donald Trump is now forced to try to make up the difference by focusing on long shot states like Nevada. Trump doesn’t appear to have any real plan for winning the state. Instead he’s simply holding rallies there and babbling incorrectly; nothing new for him.

Of course Trump is holding his narcissistic rallies during a pandemic, and on Sunday he crossed a line by holding a tightly packed indoor rally. Did he learn nothing from his deadly Tulsa debacle in which he got his friend Herman Cain killed? Apparently not. Let’s just say that Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak isn’t having any of it. He tweeted this:

Tonight, President Donald Trump is taking reckless and selfish actions that are putting countless lives in danger here in Nevada. Despite reports from his own White House, despite local officials in Southern & Northern Nevada reiterating to the venues the existing restrictions in State emergency directives, tonight, the President is knowingly packing thousands into an indoor venue to hold a political rally. The President appears to have forgotten that this country is still in the middle of a global pandemic.

Sisolak actually kept going after that, in quite a lengthy Twitter thread. It’s clear that he has no interest in playing games, and that he’s not going to sit idly by if Trump tries any election hijinks in the state.
