GOP Senators gave something away with their questions for Merrick Garland

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“Resign in disgrace!” Those words were from Senator Tom Cotton. They were directed at our AG, Merrick Garland. Garland has been testifying before the Senate. Naturally, the GOP was not going to miss a chance to let their bullshit shine.

The Attorney General’s treatment by the GOP was pathetic, disgusting and I call for THEM to resign in disgrace.

Tom Cotton. This is a man who has made few if any contributions to society. He is a lousy Senator, seemingly more concerned about sucking up to Donald Trump than getting anything accomplished in the Senate.

Josh Hawley. Insurrectionist Hawley has no business being in the same ROOM as Garland. He isn’t good enough to SPEAK to Garland.

Ted Cruz earnestly defended Nazi salutes during Garland’s testimony. The man is universally hated and is one of the worst Senators in the history of the Senate.

Marcia Blackburn had the nerve to ask Garland if the bullying parents at school board meetings were at the level of Timothy McVeigh.

The people questioning Garland — these folks mentioned — are all sedition supporters. They had no interest in Garland’s answers.

Their eyes are on only one thing: power. And their questions required no answers. They were performing. They were performing for an audience of one. Donald Trump.

It is to Garland’s credit that he stayed calm. Not I. Were I in that situation, I’d have called them the type of names Palmer Report cannot publish. It was infuriating to see, and each and every one of these traitors need to be voted out.
