GOP Senator Tommy Tuberville has unhinged “white nationalist” meltdown on live national television
One of the big problems Republican politicians have these days is trying to keep the racist vote without losing others in the process. Republicans have long resorted to using various code words to try to mask their racism, and the mainstream media has long been unwilling to call the media out for it.
But Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville appeared on CNN and unwittingly revealed just how bad off the Republican Party is these days when he was asked to condemn white nationalists. This should be an easy one, right? But the Republican party needs the white nationalist vote to have a chance in the next election cycle.
And so Senator Tuberville tried desperately to define some kind of arbitrary difference between “white nationalists” and “racists” before the host said “A white nationalist is racist, Senator.” Tuberville’s response: “Well, that’s your opinion.” No really, he said this:

So here we are. Thanks to this Republican Senator, we can now officially say that the Republican Party is indeed the party of white nationalists everywhere. Moderate voters everywhere should take note and vote Democrat accordingly.
