GOP Senator JD Vance is in over his head already

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

You may have heard of a train derailment. It happened in East Palestine, Ohio on February 3. It’s been cleaned up, but many say they are sickened by toxic fumes that were released into the air upon this derailment.

Now — Ohio, as you know, is the state that recently elected a new senator to represent it. This senator is wasting no time doing absolutely nothing to help the people affected by the derailment. JD Vance, whom I’ve nicknamed “JD Can’t”, is currently facing a media backlash after he — rather than help his voters — chose to go on fox non-news and whine.

Vance took not one, not two, but TEN DAYS even to bother to issue a statement in regards to this tragedy. Finally, Mr. Vance made a generic statement saying he was horrified — just horrified mind you!

And what was Vance’s next move? Why going on Tucker Carlson’s ghastly show! What else would the hillbilly enemy do? He then proceeded to complain about diversity hiring. I kid you not. While his people — or at least the people he CLAIMS he cares about — are coughing toxic fumes, while many homes are still considered unsafe, JD can’t is whining, blaming Biden for the train wreck and, in general, doing nothing.

“GIBBERISH!” That is what people are saying Vance’s comments amount to. He isn’t there for Ohio, but then who expected him to be? I am saddened by Ohio’s redness and would love it if it once again turned purple. One of the worst outcomes of the midterms was that JD Vance won. However, the people of Ohio lost and lost big time.
