GOP hits the panic button over Biden-Harris ticket

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s been four days and Team Trump still can’t figure out if it wants to attack Kamala Harris for supposedly being a cop or supposedly being an anarchist, a sign that no one within Donald Trump’s orbit has any idea how to even so much as lay a glove on her.

Now the GOP is resorting to quoting former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a guy who failed so badly he’s completely disappeared from the political landscape: “With the selection of Kamala Harris as his running mate, after assigning Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to work on policy, it is clear that Joe Biden has outsourced his agenda to the radical left.”

Of course this is a completely ineffective argument, and if anything it’ll backfire on the Republicans. Here you’ve got the GOP flat out telling progressive voters that the Biden-Harris ticket is sufficiently aligned with the likes of Bernie Sanders and AOC. Meanwhile, moderate voters aren’t going to be scared off by this kind of messaging, because they can clearly see that Biden and Harris are not Sanders and AOC. The Republicans are panicking here, and they’re striking out.
